Reactor

Reactor is a large, soft hemisphere of accent light rising from the bottom of the screen, with a thin arc at its rim. It gives the space below the orb an ambient glow.

import { Reactor } from 'jarvis-react-ui';

Basic

Reactor is a 900px circle, position: fixed, centered horizontally and pushed 360px below the bottom edge, with z-index: 0. Render it once near the root of your app, after the backdrop, and give content on top a position. The size is fixed and tuned for full-height viewports; in the shorter demo frame only the lower part of the glow is visible.

import { Reactor } from 'jarvis-react-ui';

export default function Basic() {
    return (
        <>
            <Reactor />
            <span className="relative text-[10px] uppercase tracking-[2px] text-text-muted">
                Reactor glow
            </span>
        </>
    );
}

HUDShell renders a Reactor by default (reactor). See Scene for a full backdrop that layers Reactor on top of the scene.

Accessibility

  • The glow is aria-hidden, ignores pointer events and does not animate. It is tinted from --accent.
